At Absolute Energy, we insulate homes every day to reduce heat loss, lower power bills, and create warmer, drier, more energy efficient homes. But our focus on safety and sustainability goes beyond the work we do inside homes. It also shapes the way we operate as a business. 

We’ve recently taken another step in that direction by upgrading our vehicle fleet. With help from the team at Bowater Toyota, we have added three new Toyota Hilux SR PreRunner 2WD Double Cab Utes to our fleet. 

Choosing the right vehicles for the job 

We do a lot of driving across the South Island, and our vehicles need to be reliable and safe. Blair Kircher from Bowater Toyota worked closely with Paul and Troy Brockie to find the right vehicle for the needs of our business and our team.  

We needed a vehicle built to handle a range of conditions, from city driving to rural job sites and the new Hilux model ticked all the boxes. The Hilux comes equipped with Toyota Safety Sense and includes an advanced Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) system. This system captures soot and fine particles from the exhaust before they’re released into the air.  

This helps keep emissions down and improves the performance of the vehicles. Combined with better fuel efficiency and a filtration system that protects the engine, these vehicles are cleaner and more cost-effective to run.
